Hobbies
Coaching a student to a powerful college application essay: what could be more exciting than that? I have coached more than 100 students through the college application process. Often their stories are so moving that I remember them years later. I am a parent of teenagers, and I still have a sense of humor and playfulness. Why should you boss your kid through these projects, when I can make projects fun? I teach fiber arts: knitting, spinning, felt-making, heddle-weaving, paper-making, Ukrainian-style egg dyeing-- any project involving color and texture. I'd love to know more about what your family needs from a tutor.
